A message from Liz Raynor to our Church Family:

Hi Everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your appreciation you kindly showed to me last Sunday, for my beautiful flowers and card, I was so overwhelmed reading all your wonderful messages, I had tears in my eyes most of Sunday.

My experience volunteering at St John’s has taught me that the love and dedication you all have for our church community is astonishing, from my first day you welcomed me in, I did know lots of faces but not the people behind the faces, now I am honoured to call you all my dearest friends.

I would just like to mention a few friends below, however it is a village that makes a child, and the whole church congregation who makes a church, so thank you everyone!!

David and Caroline, your support, love and guidance

Steve and Susie, my wonderful leaders and dearest friends

Sarah and Ben for their wisdom, love and total support

Kathryn, for everything I know, you wonderful woman!!

Beth for being my rock and for her patience

Stuart for all your patience and unending support, you have been my go to friend and you have never failed me.

Amy, thank you Amy just for being you!!

Anna for all the lovely words of support

Erin, for  pushing me to apply in the first place

Jenni, my mentor and darling friend

To my dearest little friend Elaine, what a partnership we made! Thank you for all your help.

Rosie and all at Memory Café, Renew Café, Art and Crafts, Dandelions and the G O H, Carolyn for her unending kindness, Rebecca for her guidance, understanding and advice, Jenny for your wonderful friendship and fashion taste!

I would also like to thank all my friends in the kitchen, who supplied me with soup and other lovely things, Linda, Moira, Linda and Graham, and to Francis for our little chats.

My fab friend Cliff, who has spent many, many hours working on the TV in the Trinity room for me, I have appreciated every minute, you wonderful man!!

Nick Romney for meeting up on a Thursday evening to sort out the wifi, and what a wonderful job he made!

Our wonderful hospitality team, especially Phil and Sarah for coping with me.

Jeff Lam, thank you for putting up with all my nagging!!

My Darling Rachel, our lovely cleaner, who coped beautifully with all my over the top cleaning regimes.

Jeff (Treasurer) for simply putting up with me!!

Jeff, Dave and Phil, who I have probably nagged too often. (Please forgive!)

This experience has been a very great privilege for me, one which I will never forget, I know our good Lord was behind this, so much love has been poured out over me during my time at St John’s and I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart it has been a hoot!!!!

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with you all, now and forever.

God bless you all

Liz
