Video Guides for Accessing the Live Stream
Website
What's happened to our monthly Sunday rhythms?
Our current working plan is:
1st Sunday: Bases (separate videos posted for each base)
2nd Sunday: Joint Communion (joint with St Stephen's and Burton Green)
3rd Sunday: Celebration & Community Week
4th Sunday: Bases (separate videos posted for each base)
We’ll try to remind you which week we're on in the weekly 'What's on?' sub stack post.
Where is the Video Posted?
You can find the video in two places:
1. Facebook Page (not the facebook group)
2. Church Live Stream page on the website
Why is the service in two places?
We are aware that not everyone has Facebook, and wanted to provide a way to watch the video from another platform. The website link also never changes, so you can bookmark it on your desktop and always be able to find it!
I can’t find the video through these links
The video goes live with a countdown at around 10:25, or just before 10:30am when the service begins. You won't be able to find the video on Facebook before it goes live. The video will also be blank on the website until this countdown begins.
So if you don't see anything straight away, it will pop up nearer to 10:30!
If it gets to 10:30am and nothing has appeared, try refreshing the page.
I’ve found it! But it’s slow and jumpy
If you have a fast internet download speed, you're video will generally run smoothly automatically. However, if this is not happening for you, you can usually help the video to run a bit better by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom of the video and changing the quality to 240p or 360p.
How do I chat with people during the service?
On Facebook, there will be a comments section that appears alongside the video. This is what we've been using to chat with each other.
On the website, there is a chat box positioned below the video on the This Week’s Video page.
